Description:

The 130,000-square-foot STEM-focused campus serves grades 6–12 in the Tustin Unified School District and supports the district’s TIDE curriculum, which emphasizes Technology, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship. The facility integrates modern instructional spaces with hands-on learning environments that encourage collaboration and project-based work. The multi-building campus includes technology labs, maker and design studios, flexible classrooms, and entrepreneurial learning zones that help students develop real-world problem-solving skills. Large glazing areas, clean interior detailing, and durable finishes create bright, high-performance learning spaces that support both focused study and interactive group work.

Core academic areas are complemented by commons spaces, outdoor learning patios, and circulation paths that strengthen connectivity across campus and give students multiple ways to engage with their environment. Interior wall and ceiling assemblies, acoustical treatments, and durable surface systems were coordinated to meet performance needs while providing a cohesive visual identity throughout the school. The result is a forward-looking educational environment that supports TUSD’s vision for innovation and offers a flexible platform for emerging technologies, interdisciplinary instruction, and future growth.
