Description:
Designed to serve the Bear Lake Valley, the 27,000-square-foot Montpelier Idaho Temple fosters a peaceful, intimate setting for temple worship. Located near Montpelier’s historic tabernacle, the two-story temple pairs dignified proportions with materials and detailing that reflect both regional heritage and the reverent purpose of the building. Light, color, and crafted finishes play essential roles throughout the interior, where coordinated wall, ceiling, and substrate systems support the clarity, comfort, and quiet essential to temple worship. The building’s architectural expression emphasizes harmony and simplicity, allowing refined interior assemblies, art glass, and specialty finishes to guide patrons through a calm sequence of spaces.
SDI’s craftsmanship underpins the temple’s beauty and long-term performance. Through careful integration of framing, finishes, and acoustically sensitive assemblies, our team contributed to an interior environment that upholds the Church’s standards for precision and quality while honoring the spiritual significance of the space.
