Description:

The Syracuse Utah Temple is an 88,000-square-foot sacred structure designed to serve as a place of peace, devotion, and covenant for the surrounding community. Set on a 12-acre site, the temple’s architecture incorporates finely crafted interior assemblies, specialty materials, and ornamental detailing that reflect the Church’s emphasis on reverence, refinement, and lasting beauty. High-performance wall, ceiling, and specialty finishes work in concert with art glass, stone, and custom millwork to achieve the acoustic clarity, durability, and visual harmony required of temple spaces. Across the building, the construction team coordinated complex geometries, specialty shapes, and integrated systems to support both functional performance and the symbolic importance of the design.

SDI is honored to be among the select contractors trusted to work on temples for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our craftsmanship is reflected in the precision of the interior framing, specialty substrates, acoustical treatments, and ornamental surface systems that shape the temple’s serene atmosphere. In close collaboration with the design and construction partners, SDI helped deliver a facility that meets the Church’s exacting standards for quality and longevity, supporting a sacred house of worship that will serve generations to come.
