Description:
The luxury ski-in/ski-out residential enclave nestled mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort combines contemporary alpine architecture with five-star hospitality. Its refined condominium residences feature floor-to-ceiling glass, clean structural lines, and warm natural materials that frame panoramic Wasatch Mountain views. Built to National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Gold criteria, the project integrates high-performance building systems, premium finishes, and advanced insulation assemblies for exceptional comfort, efficiency, and acoustic performance.
The hillside site introduced significant construction challenges, requiring precise coordination across terraced structures while maintaining ski-trail connectivity on all sides. The mountain-modern aesthetic—defined by extensive glazing, heavy timber accents, and innovative cold-formed steel applications—demanded rigorous detailing to meet design intent and performance requirements at high altitude. Weather fluctuations and limited seasonal access further elevated complexity, necessitating careful sequencing, durable exterior materials, and resilient interior assemblies. The result is a world-class residential retreat in one of North America’s premier ski destinations.
