Description:

The 1.6-million-square-foot landmark on the Chula Vista bayfront features a 19-story hotel tower with 1,600 guest rooms and suites, a 477,000-square-foot convention center, and extensive resort amenities. As part of a joint venture, SDI provided interior framing and drywall services across both structures, coordinating complex assemblies through BIM to meet four-star hospitality standards.

Prefabricated soffit profiles and project-wide PanelMax drywall profiling reduced field labor, improved finish quality, and supported schedule certainty. The resort anchors the city’s bayfront redevelopment, establishing a premier coastal destination that reflects technical excellence, collaboration, and large-scale craftsmanship.
