Description:

Serving as the home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium is a groundbreaking sports and entertainment venue and the centerpiece of the 298-acre Hollywood Park mixed-use development. The 70,240-seat, 3.1 million-square-foot complex features a dramatic translucent ETFE roof canopy spanning the stadium, performance venue, and adjacent plaza—creating a one-of-a-kind indoor-outdoor experience tailored to Southern California’s climate. As the largest stadium in the NFL and the first indoor-outdoor stadium of its kind, SoFi hosts everything from major concerts to global sporting events. Blending iconic architecture with cutting-edge technology and fan-centric amenities, the venue set a new benchmark for immersive live experiences.

SDI delivered the interior wall and ceiling scopes, supported by early preconstruction coordination to protect quality and schedule on a highly complex, high-profile build. To streamline installation and reduce labor, SDI prefabricated framing assemblies for restroom and concession PODs as predrilled “kit” systems and implemented an alternate installation approach for specialized acoustic panels requiring Level 5 finishes. Trimble layout tools and proactive finish-trade coordination further minimized rework and ensured seamless integration across interior systems.
