Description:
Sutter Health Samaritan Court Ambulatory Care & Surgery Center is a three-story, 69,000-square-foot medical office building designed to consolidate multiple specialties within a single, patient-focused facility. The center supports 34 physicians across 12 disciplines—including OBGYN, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, urology, and oncology—and includes a clinical laboratory, advanced imaging, and a full ambulatory surgery center with three operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and 20 patient bays.
Delivered under an Integrated Form of Agreement (IFOA), the project emphasized collaboration and early problem-solving. Big Room workflows, BIM-driven layout printing with Dusty Robotics, virtual punch lists, and Takt planning reduced RFIs, improved field accuracy, and accelerated delivery. The team completed the project nearly three months ahead of schedule with significantly fewer punch-list items than industry benchmarks, resulting in a modern outpatient facility that expands access to specialty care in the South Bay.
